A meeting of the Ikamatua and West Coast Coursing Club was held last evening, when Mr. G. B. Mclnroe presided over a good attendance. CYCLING. [per press association.] WELLINGTON, June 26. The rift in the cycling world has broken out in a new place. The Port Nicholson Club, affiliated with N.Z.A.Q., recently announced that it would take charge of the annual road race from Palmerston North to Wellington. This is contradicted by the President of Wellington centre of the Amateur Athletic Association, who says it has always been run by his body. This year, the hundred miles N.Z. Amateur Championship, will be run in conjunction with the road race and will be open only to cyclists registered with the N.Z.A.A.A.
