SYDNEY WOOL SALES [BY CABLE—PRESS ASSN.—COPYRIGHT.] ' • SYDNEY, June 25. At to-day’s wool sales the offerings were 10,218 bales, and the number sold was 8,715, also 1722 'privately. The market was unchanged, with good general competition. Greasy merino made 15g pence. HIDES MARKET MELBOURNE, June 26. At the hides sale to-day prices mostly were one-eighth of a penny to a farthing per pound lower. NATIONAL BANK OF N.Z. LONDON, June 24. The National Bank of New Zealand has declared a final dividend of 12 per cent, tax free. The directors state that in view of the general economic situation throughout the world, and the fall in the value of commodities, they deem it prudent to withhold a bonus.
