GEORGE TAINUI DROWNED
TRAGEDY AT ARAHURA. (Special to “Star.") HOKITIKA, December 4. George Henry Tainui, was drowned in the Arahura River last evening, while engaged in dragging a net for flounders. He swam aci-osjs a couple of times and on the third time sank and did not reappear.
The body was .recovered this morning. He was single and aged 40 years.
