A SUCCESSFUL TOUR.

The members of the Victoria College debating team from Wellington, New Zealand, which is nearing the completion of its tonr of the United States and Canada, were entertained by the English-Speaking Union here. ■■ They are leaving shortly for New England, where they will debate with
several of the Universities. They will return to New York.\ Their debate with Columbia University takes place in January 5 next. They will then sail for home from San Francisco. The team state that they have been greatly pleased with the opportunities afforded them of seeing Canadian and American life, especially at the smaller colleges. t The team have had a- full schedule of debating, with many colleges, of both mem and women, and they have lost but • two decisions.
