In the course of a two-column article (entitled “Rugby’s Best”) in the Auckland “Star’s” Sports Edition, Graham E. Beamish, the New Zealand Press Association representative on the All Black’s South African tour selects the following fifteen from the two countries to tackle the Rest of the British Empire: —

Halves: Nicholls (stand-off), Dally. Front RoW: Swain, Mostert, Hadley. Middle Row: Stewart, Van Druter. Back Row: Hazlett, Danell, and McWilliams. <
