MR. AMERY’S VISIT
WANGANUI RECEPTIONS

WANGANUI, Nov. 25.
Mr. Amery arrived from New Plymouth at three o’clock, and was welcomed by the Mayor. Mr. Amery was taken for a drive in the country, while Mrs. Amery met the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union and other women’s bodies and visited the Victoria League’s Rooms. Mr. Amery attended a Chamber of Commerce function on his return from the country, and Mr. and Mrs. Amery were welcomed at a civic reception in the evening. To-morrow, they proceed to Flock House and Palmerston North and thence to Wellington.
