MARCONI’S MARRIAGE

Signor Marconi has interviewed the Pope and discussed the annulment of his marriage, for which a preliminary decree has been granted by the Curia of the Archdiocese of Westminster on the ground of the defective legality of his marriage with. Beatrice O’Brien. It was stated by Marconi that his wife had made it a condition before their marriage that she could separate whenever she might wish, which* Marconi claims, nullifies the marriage in Roman Catholic Canon law. It is now rumoured that Marconi is engaged to marry a member of the old Roman aristocracy. VANDERBILT DENIAL. PARIS, Nov. 23. Mrs W. K. Vanderbilt denies a report from New York that she has applied to Rome for an annulment of her marriage.
