DISCOVERED IN HIDING.

LONDON, September 12.
The “Daily Chronicle’s” Rome correspondent says: Dr. Martino-Fusco has failed to answer the Government summons to appear and produce the 107 lost volumes of Livy which he claims to have found. His friends say that he is now hiding, and is working secretly on the translation of the books. He will, they say, appear tomorrow.
The police searched Martino-Fus-co’s house but found no trace of the volumes. >
