WAR HONORS
TO BE PRESENTED. A considerable number of war decorations awarded to officers and nurses for service during the war are still outstanding. For instance, several war decorations due to Greymouth returned men have not yet come to hand these men having preferred to wait until their arrival in the Dominion, instead of receiving the decoration in London.
All iuquirios received lately by the Department have been dealt with by the transmission of the necessary details to the Imperial authorities, accompanied by the request that the delivery of the' decorations be expedited. %. complete list of presentations at Investitures held in London is not yet available but it is believed that in" a good many cases officers and nurses who were awarded decorations have not yet received them, nor yet have they made any enquiry as to lolivery. in order that this matter may be cleared up, all persons concerned should notify Headquarters New Zealand Military Forces, without delay. In this regard similar information should be lurnished by the nearest living relatives of deceased officers in cases where the decorations awarded : ve not been delivered.
