PRIVATE J. MULLAN News has just come to hand that Pri vate J. Mullan, reported dangerously ill last week, died on the 12th inst., in France. The deceased was a son-in-law of Mrs Thomas Franklin, of this town, and formerly of Brunner. He leaves a bright little fellow five years of age, his wife having died about three years ago. Private J. Mullan was a son of Mr R. Mullan, of Westport, for many years clerk of th 0 Buller County Council, and a very old resident of Westport. -
