The Tasmaniini Covornnient TattcrsnllV, permission for the drawing, which took place in, the presence of Oovennneht representatives, (lie press, and the police. In all, 208.149 tickets were sold, which realised £26,018. Mr C 11. Hnjrhes, secretary of the Union Steamship Company, Dunerliii, drew the prizes on behalf of the subscribers. The result, was :
INVER'CARGILL, This Day. In connection with the winning numbers of tho art union, the letter A on the tickets stands Cor 100,000, R For 200,000, and C for 300,000. The tickets were onlv numbered from J to 99,999; thus the winning number is 885,573.
