INFANT HIT BY CAR
DOCTOR BACKS INTO SON (Per Preps Association! Palmerston K., March 19. Accidentally to knock down and seriously injure his infant son, was the distressing experience of a wellknown eye, ear, and nose specialist of Palmerston. Dr Brausgro-ve was barking his car down the drive at Jus residence in Featlierston Street on Saturday, when liis young son. a toddler of 18 months, got into the way of tffo vehicle. The doctor jammed on his brakes and the car did not pass over the child’s body. It was seriously injured, however, and is now an inmate of a private hospital, in Palmerston North.:
An improvement has been noted in tin- infant’s condition.
