HAS BOTTOM BEEN BEACHED? (Pur Dress Association) Dunedin, March 19. Amongst tlie men who are deeply conversant with the wool business the opinion is gaining ground that prices have touched rock bottom, consequently no further decline is likely in the rmaining sales of this season. It seems to be commonly agreed that te present market rates are below instrinsic values and are too low to mahke growing payable, except t° those flock owners who are in a position to work their business at a minimum of outlay.
