LAST NIGHT’S CYCLE RACES
On Kovvhai Park last night, before a fair attendance of the public, the Feilding Amateur Atjileti Club conducted another of its popular meetings. The following are the results of the events:— Novelty race.—W. Pedley 1, A. Groombridge 2, R. Hirst 3. One mile handicap.—R. Hirst, 75yds, 1 ; R. Sowerby, 75yds, 2 ; !•. Groombridge 3. Time 2.18 3-5. Boys’ half-mile race.—Flanagan 1, Stevens 2, Wickham 3. . CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP. The following is the list of points gained by competitors in the various events during the season : R. Sowerby 30, A. Groombridge and R. Hirst 22, H. Walker and \V. Pedley 18, RLittlejohn and F. Groombridge 14. Edhouse xi, N. Stevens q, R. Kitchen 6, A. Zwerbruck 4.
Boys’ points: Flanagan and Woodman 16, Hesketh 13. Kitchen to, Hollis, Stevens and Hight 8, Murch and Naylor 6, Laurenson 5, Grin rod and W’iokham 2.
