MOTORIST CONVICTED
HIS LICENSE CANCELLED

At the Magistrate's Court ffliis morning, before Mr H. \\. Bundle; S.M., William Fraser, a runholder. Haicatarainea, appeared on a charge of being in charge ol a car when intoxicated.
The Magistrate; after hearing lengthy evidence, said that ho was satisfied defendant and his companion had indulged in a drinking bout on the day - previously. Defendant stayed out the night, though less than two miles from Tvurow, wmle Wilson refused to give anv account, 'of his whereabouts during the night though, he admitted that at 5.30 in the morning he was reading »■ paper at the monumenfcDefencuTnt was fined £8 and his license endorsed for two years
