COURT DECIDES AGAINST DOHNKY. (Aust. and N.Z. Cable). San Francisco, Jan. 4
The United States Circuit Court of Appeal has handed down a decision giving the Government a sweeping victory in the case against Doheny, upholding the decision of the Los Angeles District Court, whereby Elk Hills Reserve was ordered to he returned. Simultaneously, the Appellate Court reversed, the hos Angeles decision regarding Doheny, awarding approximately 12 million dollars compensation for the development of Elk Hill Reserves, and the construction of storage tanks at Pearl Harbour.
