10-day Lord Kitchener leaves Now Zealand. During Jiis visit to Dannevirke this week he was specially interested to learn .that the Scandinavian people who had originally populated that district were assimlhitTng with New Zealanders. Mrs Parker (Lord Ktchener's sister) expressed the greatest gratification, at her tour througn. the North Island, which had been a great revelation to her. Lord Kitchener endorses this view, and adds that the Dominion as a whole was a wonderful country, and he would not have missed visiting it lor a great deal.
