THE NORTH ISLAND CONTEST. In the march of the bands through Wanganui yesterday to the garden party given on the racecourse, the Feilding Band played "Royal and True," arid its contribution to tbe afternoon's programme was the "Cadet" March.At the contests in the evening, the B-flat Cornet solo resulted: A. Berryman (Nelson), 119 .points, 1; J. Da7"»(QMborne), 117, 2; and G. Buckley (Wanganui Garrison), 116, 3.
