WEDDING.

WOODS—THOBBY

Ihe marriage took place at St. John's Church yesterday, the Rev. A. S. Inn us Jones officiating, of Mr Clive •James Woods, son of Mr W. T. Woods, of Shirley, Natal, to Miss I'hoobe Jane Thorby. daughter of me late Ur Frederick Thorby. of Stanway. The bride was becomingly attired in white, with "the customary bridal veil and Avreath of orange blossoras. She carried a lovely bouquet, the. gift of the groom, and wore a gold necklet, with pendant set- in pearls, also the gift of tho groom. The bridesmaids were Miss AnrfThcrby (sister) and Miss Mary James; Mr Kenneth McKenzie supported the groom as best man and Mr Charles Thorby as groomsman. .Mr R, Suisted (undo) gave the bride away. After taking tea and receiving the congratulations of their friends, Mr and Mrs Woods left for Wanganui, thence to Auckland, en route for Natal, where vhey are to make their home.
