YET ANOTHER DROWNED. Thames, February 9. Harold Bell, the son of a wellknown Kopu resident, was drowned yesterday by falling off a small jetty near a timber mill into a fast flowing river. ISSUE STILL DOUBTFUL. Napier, February 9. A poll was taken in Hawke's Bay to-day on the Harbour Board proposal to borrow £200,000 for the -completion of the breakwater. The issue is stiTT in doubt, as a number of country returns have yet to come in. Votes in favour of the proposal exceed the requisite threefifths majority Ry 17G.
