A new novel by a Feilding writer, Mr Thos. Watson, will (says this morning's N.Z. Times) be issued from the press during next week.^ The story, we understand, is laid in America, where the writer spent some time, and it deals with life in the Far West some thirty years ago. The j expectations of Mr Watson's friends | with regard to his novel run high, as evidenced by the fact that he has several hundred private orders before the book is issued. We hope to review the work in these columns at an early date.
