MANAWATU WINTER SHOW.
BUTTER AND CHEESE AWARDS. [PER PBESB ASSOCIATION.] Palmerston North, June 17. The following are the butter and cheese awards in connection with the Manawatu Show ,as far as available to-night:— Factory Butter (two boxes for export)— Rewa. 94; Warm, 83*. The following tied— Bunny Glen, Oroua, Hawkers Bay, Mahahu, Mute, Rata, Rangiwahia, Waitara, 93 each. Factory butter from bulk—Rangitikei, 94; Waitara, 93*; Midhurst. 93. The winner gets a gold medal and challenge cup valued at 25 guineas. The winner takes a gold medal and a 25 guinea cup. Novice Class: Two boxes for export—Glen Oroua, 94; Warea, 93* ; Mahahu, 93. Cheese: Three cases, full cream, Cheddar shaped— W.aikouaiti 1, Edendalo 2. Three cases do., white— Taratam 1, Waikouaiti 2. Two failing cheese — Taratahi 1, Edendale 2, Da Meld 3. Waikouaiti and Taratahi tied for the challenge cup and 25 guineas. Other results are not available.
