At a meeting of the Canterbury Rugby Union last night a spectator was disqualified till ;the end of the season, and was warned off all grounds for disputing the referees. F. Jones, player, was similarly disqualified for six months. At a meeting of the New Zealand Cricket, Council last night the Tasmania Cricket Association wrote asking terms for the visit of a Tasmaman team in 1906, seven matches to be confined to the South Island and Wellington. I* was suggested that the Council could not approve of any tour leaving Auckland Out. The matter was referred to the Committee which negotiating for the English team.
