NEW ZEALAND EXHIBITION.

Munro, Executive Commissioner to the New Zealand International Exhibition, has issued an official review of the last we k's progress. He purposes issuing a similar report weekly. Last week's report states that the Building Committee has approved the design of the main building, which will have a frontage of 850 ft to the river Avon, and will extend 220 ft back. It will bo capable of farther extension if necessary. , Preliminary sketches of the gallery, machinery, and concort halls are being prepared by the architects, and , will be submitted to the Building , Committee shortly. A most complete manual - electric - pneumatic » organ has been ordered from Messrs Ingram and Co., Hereford, England, I which is to bo erected in the Exhibij tion Concert Hall in a playable con--5 dition before October Ist, 1906. T Invitations have been issued to the 3 Mayors of Dunedin, Wellington, and f Auckland, requesting them to con vene meetings of citizens for the . purpose of setting up a local advisory committee to represent the exhibition in those centres, and asfist it from a Colonial point of view.
