FRANKLIN EXHIBITORS CLASS AWARDS. Franklin exhibitors were prominent in the prize list at the Waikato jubilee show at Claudelands on Friday and Saturday. On Friday the following were the principal prize-getters:— Championships t Pony, 13.2 hands and under: W. A. Stevenson (Pukekohe). Class Awards Horses. —Thoroughbred mare: Mrs Jf'arston (Waiuku) 1. Hacks and hunters.—Mare, empty, adapted to breed weight-carrying hacks: E. Martyn Wright (Mauku) 1 and 2. Hack up to. 15st.: E. M. Wright 1. Best paced hack: E. M. Wright 3. Maiden hack: Mrs Marston 1, E. M. Wright 3. Filly or gelding, three to four years: E. M. Wright 1 and 3, Mrs Marston 2. Maiden hunter, ridden by rider who has never won an event: J. W. Hawke 3. , A GREAT INNINGS JERSEY CLUB MEMBERS The secretary of the Franklin Jersey Breeders’ Club, Mr D. R. Hamilton writes: — At the Waikato Jubilee Show, members of the Franklin Jersey Club had a great innings. Excluding the bull calves which were only four months old, there were four other bull classes in the catalogue and members of the Franklin Jersey Club won three of them, often in competition with imported bulls. Mr J. P. Revel!’s bull, “Craigavon Gay Gordon,” won the yearling class in an entry of thirteen. In this class there was a very fine lot of bulls and the competition was keen. Mr R. D. Kerr’s bull, “Allandale Beau Royal,” won the two-year-old *class, and Messrs .1. 11. Sherrard and Sons with “Allandale Dawns Finance,” won the four-year-old class, being first and champion. Altogether Franklin breeders got 24 ribbons, comprising six firsts, nine seconds, six thirds, two fourths, one fifth.' one champion and one reserve champion. Mr L. L. Logan was awarded first in cow three years or over, first in heifer two years, second in heifer two years, second in special class for heifer two vears. second for bull two vears, second for heifer junior yearling, second for heifer senior yearling, second for yearling special class, second for pair of yearling heifers, second for senior group, reserve champion for heifers, third in aged cow class, third in junior group, fourth in heifer yearling and 'fifth in yearling bulb Besides winning the two-year-old hull class Mr R. D. Kerr was placed second lor cow three years, third best three cows in milk,' third cow three years, third senior group, and fourth for mature cow.

Mr W. 11. Carter got a first and third for heifer calves; and besides getting first and champion for mature bull, Messrs J. 11. Sherrard and Sons got a third for heifer two years in milk.
