PUKEKOHE CLUB Til E CM AMPIONS HI PS This year I here will be no qualifying rounds for the Pukekohe Golf Club’s championships. The draw lor championship play is:— Senior. —First round: Niccol v. F. Wharfe; Grierson v. Walton. Second round: I. Bayly v. Mills; P. Hanna v. Foote; McNaughl v. Moore; Liddle v. ,J. D. Wright; Smith v. Jobson; Roulston v. Schlaepfer. Intermediate. —First round: Morley v. Logan: Seeley v. Utting; Blanchard v. G/Reynolds; Rradanovich v. W. Wharfe; Marshall v. Douglas. Second round; M. Campbell v. C. D. Wright; Robson v. B. Webster: G. Willis v. Weston.
Junior. —First round: G. Cooper v. L. Foote; Ridley v. W. Bagshaw; McMurtrie v. D. Young; King v. G. E. Walter; Palmer v. Sharp; G. Clark v. Slevin; J. Cooper v. M. Hall; Vallance v. A. Jeffries; Wiles v. Fulton; K. Clarke v. E. Reynolds; Adams v. M. Lawrie; F. Bagshaw v. Madill; K. Hamilton v. L. Sheppard; L. Bayly v. E. E. Francis; A. Bradley a bye; Driver, a bye. The first round will be played on Saturday and anyone wishing to play second round matches may do so. The draw is posted in the club-house. RETURNED SOLDIERS’ TOURNEY The Franklin returned soldiers’ tournament will be held on September 14 on the Pukekohe links. The tournament is open to jany man who has served overseas in any war, and 2nd N.Z.E.F. returned men are especially invited to be present.
