ANGLICAN GUILD MEETS. A very pleasant social afternoon was held in Hie public hail on Friday afternoon to celebrate Ihe tenth birthday of the Anglican Ladies' Guild. There was a very fair attendance, nieluding many Presbyterian friends. During Ihe afternoon songs were rendered by Mesdnmes eMllsop. G. W. Stephens, and Waters, while a pianoforte dui*l was played by Mrs TTcaslip and .Miss Wood. Two competitions, won by Mrs Gallagher and Miss Wood, were greatly enjoyed and afforded much amusement, also a bntllle of balloons arranged by Mrs Mellsop proved inos I mirth provoking. Many willing helpers dispensed a ilainly afternoon lea. and a jumble and guild stall did very satisfactory business wilh good financial results. The vicar of Ihe parish, the Her. H. W. lleasliep. ihanked all present fur Ihe much appreciated help and support.
