The ' price is generally Gibs for I/- at lead- j ing grocers. j Exciting Afternoon. ! Papakura's usual quiet and orderly j Sunday afternoon was rudely disturb- j cd yesterday by the sounding of Hie j tiro siren. The alarm came from the pavilion of Ihe Papakura Golf Club and in a few minutes llie fire engine was on the scene. As far as is known Hie outbreak wa sof a mild nature and the trouble had ended with the arrival of the brigade. inside five minutes the town was alive with cars and all manner of vehicles hound for the scene i and Hie town was indeed lively.
