BOY INJURED.
STRUCK WITH A GOLF CLUB. FRACTURE OF THE SKULL. A compound fracture of the skull was sustained by the eleven-year-old .son of Mr and Mrs L. M. Dixon, of Wairamarama, as the result of being struck with a golf club. An elder brother of the boy was practising swinging with a golf club -when the lad was hit on the head. He was removed to Mount Pleasant hospital, Auckland, and is reported to :be progressing favourably.
