UNPAID HOSPITAL FEES.
COMPLAINT IN WELLING fON. At a meeting- of the Wellington Hospital Board, unfavourable comment was again made in regard to the amount owing for fees. The chairman said that many people who could afford to pay would not pay. Other members objected to writing such debts off permanently. It was stated that the board was losing- £3OOO monthly, and that the outstanding accounts owing by patients amounted to £SOOO.
