DISABLED SERVICEMEN'S LEAGUE WORK COULD BE EXTENDED
(P.A ) WELLINGTON, June 25. Expressing admiration of the work the Disabled Servicemen’s Re-estab-lishment League had done for the veterans of two world Avars, the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, opening the annual meeting to-day, suggested the possibility of the work being carried further in order to provide for men ivho were injured in industrial jobs. ' The Minister of Rehabilitation, Mr Skinner, said he had received a request from civilian amputees for representation on the league's committees, and he asked the league to consider this. Mr J. I. Goldsmith, Dominion president of the league, welcomed Mr Fraser's suggestion, saying it showed that the Government had faith in the league and its work.
