New Zealand Breweries were marked up on the Dunedin Exchange this morning with a sale in the room at 595, and final buyers only Id away. Bank of New South Wales eased to dealings, at £59 17s 6d, and both issues of New Zealand Dunlops remained weak. Selected quotations are as follows :

The Electrolytic Zinc Company of Australia Limited reports production for four weeks ended May 28 as follows, the corresponding production for, previous four weeks being given in parenilhehes: —Risdon works, zinc 5,494 tons (5,074__ tons). West Coast mines: Ore treated 9,601 ton* (10.011 tons), Lead concentrate 625 tons (764 tons), zinc concentrate 2,892 tons (3,192 tons), copper concentrates 285 tons (264 tons). CEYLON TEA SALES. LONDON, June 24. Ceylon tea sales were resumed to-day and offerings totalled 4,414,0001 b in 2,088 lots. The market generally was firm, with bidding active. Low-grown teas were firm to medium, and high-grown dearer than at the last sale. Flowery Broken Orange Pekoes and Fannings realised the top prices of 27 and 20 cents respectively. The offerings catalogued for the June sales will be auctioned on July 1. DIVIDENDS DECLARED. Imperial Chemical Industries of Australia and New Zealand Ltd. will pay a dividend on the preference shares for tllie half-year ending July 31, 1947, at the rate of 5 per cent, per annum. BUTTER EXPORT GRADINGS. Creamery butter received for grading for export in the year ended. March 31 waa iJi-13 tons, against 107,582 tons the previous year, states the report of the executive of the National Dairy Federation that was presented to the annual meeting in ..non yesterday. This represents an increase of 10.71 per cent. Cheese received for export grading in the year was 86,62+ tons, against 90,523 tons, - a decrease, of 4.3 per cent. In terms of butter-fat, the years increase was 8,080 tons, or -6.45 per cent, over the 1945,46 figure, which, m turn, was 11.584 tons, or 8.47 pet cent, below, the 1944-45 season’s total. : The average grade of creamery butter was 93.376 points, against 93.248. Of the total, 82.94 per cent, was graded finest (against 80.28 per cent.), 16.86 per cent, first (against 19.49 per cent.), and .19. per cent, under first (against .22 per cent.). The average grade of cheese was 92.257 points against 92.114. Of the total, 33.84 per cent, was granded finest (against .25.33 per cent,); 62.66 per cent, first (against 69.84 per cent.), and 3.49 per cent, under first (against. 4.82 per cent.). The estimated average pay-out to suppliers for 194647, including all cost allowances, is 21.75 d for butter and 24d for cheese The average the previous season, including farm and farm labour costs allowances of 3.904 d, was 20.57 d for butter and 22.88 d for cheese.
