SYMPATHY WITH HARDSHIPS
(Rec. 11.5 a.m.) LONDON, February 17. The King s'ent a telegram to Mr Attlee from the Vanguard thanking him for keeping him informed of developments in the fuel crisis, and asked the Prime Minister to express their Majesties’ sympathy with the people and their earnest hope for early alleviation of the hardships.
