SOUTH AFRICAN NATIVES IN INDUSTRY
(Rce, 8 a.m.) CAPETOWN, January 7. The Government, in spite of trade union opposition, has decided to call a national conference of all parties to discuss the question of training native builders to enable them to build houses for the natives. The Exchange Telegraph’s correspondent says the European. trade unions had previously threatened to expel white trade union builders who trained natives.
