JEWISH AGENCY REPRESENTATIVES IN PARIS ONUS ON BRITAIN (llec. 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 9. The Jewish Agency spokesman in Paris said Dr Xahmu Goldmaun, who is an American member of the executive, and other members of the Agency were at present in London, should the British “ want to grope for a suitable basis for our joining the talks.” He added that the initiative had to come from Britain. Reuter’s Jerusalem correspondent reports that Jamal Husseini told the Transjordan King Abdullah that the Palestine Arab Higher Executive saw no reason to reverse its. decision not to attend the London conference. Husseini saw King Abdullah at Amman Palace, where the. King asked him to reconsider the decision to reject the British invitation,
