ANNUAL REPORT The- annual report of the Carisbrook Cricket Club draw’s attention to a unique distinction conferred upon the club, in that;it .has supplied the last two consecutive New Zealand teams with their captains, namely, the late D. A. 11 Moloney, whocaptained New Zealand against Sir .Julian Calm’s Flnglisli side in the season 1938-39, and W. A. Hadlee, who led'the .Dominion in the - test match with < the Australians last season. . It also announces that club colours have been awarded to the following members;—A. C. Proctor, W. A. Hadlee, A/ VV. McDougall, L. Milnes, R. Harwodd, T. C. Fraser, L. M. Uttley, .1. Caradus. R. Carter, 1,. Miller, I. Galloway, R. Caradus,- A. .Jack, H. Hogg, and A. R. Knight. In accordance -with the recommendation) of the outgoing committee, trophies in connection with'-last season’s play have ben awarded as follows; —Senior (Crosby Morris trophy), W. A. Hadlee ; intermediate (G. G. Austin trophy), J.: Harw’ood j second— grade A (G. R Ritchie trophy), A. Fleury; second grude B (.1. Kennedy, trophy)., K. Baird; fielding (J. Hope trophy), R. Caradus.
