LAWN TENNIS
UNION TOURNEY The Dunedin Lawn Tennis Union Easter tournament, which was to have been continued on Saturday, was delayed owing to heavy rain. About noon the rain ceased and the Aotea courts dried fairly well, allowing play to commence at 2 p.m. When only five matches had been completed, however, another heavy_ shower stopped iplay for the day. It is hoped to complete the tournament on Saturday. The results of the matches played are as follows: MEN'S HANDICAP SINGLES. Fourth Round.—D. Hanning beat H. Colquhoun 7-6, D. Mason beat E. Kofoed 7-5. LADIES' HANDICAP SINGLES. Third Round. —N. Bladkwood beat W. Facer 7-3, A. Luke beat Mrs McNee 7-5, M. Blackwood beat G. Cox 7-5.
