ROBIN JANSEN
FIRST CONCERT TO-MORROW Mr Rawdon Blandford will present at the Town Hall to-morrow Robin Jansen, the latest of the Australian virtuoso pianists. Jansen is an exponent of the Leschititsky method of pianism, which was the method adopted by Paderewski and Ignaz Friedman, who, incidentally, considers young Jansen to be the most brilliant pianist he has yet heard. Jansen's school of pianism is of the pure classicist type, and he roams the albums of Bach, Beethoven, Brahma, and Chopin with the same dexterity and joy that have been revealed by other great pianists. Particulars are advertised.
