REV. J. F. WATSON'S NEW CHARGE At a meeting of the Dunedin Presbytery, held yesterday afternoon, a letter was received from the Rev. J. F. Watson, M.A., intimating his ap'pointment to the charge of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Suva, and consequently tendering his resignation to the St. Clair congregation. Commissioners were heard from the St. Clair congregation. They stated that a congregational meeting had heen held at which tributes had been paid to Mr Watson's work. In view of the circumstances it had heen agreed to place no obstacle in his way. The Presbytery agreed to Mr Watson's resignation as from the date of his induction to the Suva charge. The induction will be.held at Auckland on Tuesday, February 19. _ Members b of the Presbytery spoke in very high terms of Mr Watson's work, not only at St. Clair. Wit also generally.
