SMUGGLED CIGARETTES
SEIZED BY CUSTOMS SAILOR LANDS A JEEP ' ((Rec. 11.40 a.m.) - ' BRISBANE, January 24. Attempts have been made within .the past few weeks to smuggle thousands of American cigarettes into Australia by civilian and military planes. " More than 280,000 cigarettes have been seized by Customs officials. All of these come from Manila and the islands. All cigarettes, seized will be sold by public auction soon.
