FOOTBALLERS' STRIKE
HIGHER WAGES DEMANDED LONDON, November 6. Sixty-two Association football clubs in Britain voted for striking following the refusal of the management to raise wages. Two voted against striking. This is the result of a postal ballot announced at a meeting in Manchester yesterday of players' union delegates representing 52 of 86 teams at present playing. The union decided to strike after November 17 if the management does not meet their demands.
