COUNTY COUNCIL MEETING The monthly meeting of the Peninsula County Council, held yesterday, was attended by Air T. S. Edmond (chairman), and Crs R. G. Habershon, D. Rutherford, W. B. Stunner, J. Hellyer, J. W. Harbrow, M. Geary, R. W. Aitken. and T. Aitken. The tender of Dunedin Servicemen’s Products for supplying dog collars for 1946 was accepted. Or T. Aitken was appointed to represent the. council on the Aletropolitan Alilk Board, and the chairman was appointed to attend a meeting of the Otago Regional Planning Council on October 25 The Tomahawk Amenities Society wrote complaining of the state of the footpath from Glencairn Hall to the school.—The matter was referred to the foreman.
Accounts passed for payment amounted to £353 6s 3d.
