Curtiu announced to-day that all the recommendations made in the Australian Censorship Committee's interim report had been approved, and directions had been given to the Commonwealth departments to carry them out. This means that the censorship will no longer be used in policing minor offences against the rationing and other regulations, and that when correspondence is supplied to a Government .department the addressee or sender will be notified promptly. The Parliamentary Censorship Committee has not yet completed its inquiry, and Opposition demands will be made to hand it over to Mr Justice Clyne.
