PLUMBING EXAMINATIONS

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 11. . The report of the examiners to the Plumbers' Board of New Zealand on the examinations conducted last month states that 11 of the 33 candidates passed the written part of the examination. Taking the examination as a whole, the result was very disappointing. Candidates again failed to read the questions correctly, and included irrelevant matter in the answers. Eight of the 24 candidates passed the practical test. Two candidates passed both portions of the examination. The combined result of the examination, taking into account the parts previously passed by some candidates, entitled seven [o registration.
