In Christehurch Edmond's Baking Powder Company had established a most attractive garden round the works, and with a little encouragement the samo could be done by some of : our local industries. Some had -already made a very fine start. On the motion of Messrs'Ash and lounfcain, it was agreed to warmly endorse the action of a sub-committee in assuring Messrs Fletcher Holdings Ltd. of the. society's interest and co-operation, and to do everything possible to extend the development of "the suggested scheme for beautification. . ,
