CRATER WIDER

Observatory measurements show that: Vesuvius has added 150 metres to its height as the result of the recent eruption, says 'The Times'"Naples correspondent. The crater has become much wider, measuring 500 metres across instead of 80. The volcano as seen from Naples has a flatter appearance than before.
