AMERICAN SUBMARINE LOST

(Rec. 12.15 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Oct. 24. The United States submarine Dorado is overdue and must be, presumed lost, says a Navy Department communique. The Associated Press says it is presumed that the Dorado, whose normal complement was 65, was lost in the Pacific. It is the thirteenth American submarine lost since the war started.
