OPERATIONS AGAINST JAPANESE
INDIA'S VITAL PART
(Rec. 10.30 a.m.) RUGBY, Oct. 92. Lord Louis Monntbatten, after his return from Chungking, is engaged in the final groundwork preparatory to taking over command in the operational theatre, says a New Delhi message. Sir Sultan Ahmed, information member of the Government of India, speaking on future operations against the Japanese from India, said that India was proud that she had a vital part to play in operations against the Japanese. "She will do so with determination and a high sense of duty. There is no Indian who does not realiso that a Japanese victory'-will* end all prospects for India. This is our war, and must be won," he said.
