Messrs T. Somerville and J. C. Laing left this morning for Wellington to attend a' meeting of the New Zealand Master Printers' Federation,
Mr J. G. Gasparich, of Invercargill, an inspector of Southland primary schools, has been notified of his transfer to Napier. His successor will be .Mr , Henryßochfort, principal of the Christchurch South Intermediate. School. The transfer will take effect at the beginning of the next shpol term. Staying at the City Hotel are Mr J. E. Brodie, Squadron-leader G. Mitchell (Wellington), Mr F. J. Kent, Mr J. Moffitt; "Mr and Mrs P. Hollander (Christchurch).
