—Vice-regal Appointments.— According to a notice in a supplementary Gazette issued last night, tho following have been appointed honorary aides-de-camp to the GovernorGeneral :—Commodore E. Rotherham, R.N.; Commander M. J. Yeatnian, R.N.; Acting Commander A. 1). Boyle, U.N. (retired); Brigadier A. E. Conway, New Zealand Staff Corps; Colonel J. (i. Jeffery, New Zealand Temporary Staff; Lieutenant-colonel D. T. Maswell, New Zealand Staff Corps; Lieu-tenant-colonel S. J. Hanna, New Zealand Temporary Staff; Lieutenantcolonel W. R. Lascelles, New Zealand Temporary Staff; Acting Air Commodore M. W. Buckley, R.N.Z.A.F.; Acting Air "Commodore R. B. Bannerman, R.N.Z.A.F.; Group Captain S. Walling* ford, R.N.Z.A.F.; Group Captain K. L. Caldwell, R.N.Z.A.F. Colonel I. S. Wilson, New Zealand Medical Corps, has been appointed honorarv physician, and Surgeon-com-mander'H. K. Corkhill, R.N.Z.N.V.R., has been appointed honorary surgeon. —Ministerial. — The Minister of .Agriculture and Marketing (the Hon. J. G, Barclay) arrived in Dunedin to-day, and this afternoon met representatives of the Primary Production Council, Farmers'.Union, Rabbitslkin .Committee, Sheep Owners' Federation, and the. Stock and Station Agents' Association in private conference. —Air Passengers.— Passengers by the. south-bound air liner yesterday afternoon were:—Miss B. Conn, Mrs F. Wright, Miss R. Simpson, Miss R. Mudsen, Mr J. A. Race, Miss M. Scott (from Wellington), Miss V. Dickinson, Mr J. R. Trevelyon, Aircraftman 11. M. Johnston, and Mr F. S. Laycock (from Christchurch). Passengers by the north-bound air liner to-day were:—Mr R. J. Eards, Mr T. Greaney, Mr F. Barnes, Mr W. G. Fernie, Mr A'. V: Wilkinson, Mr F. Henderson, Miss N. A. Tait (for Christchurch), Miss L. Fletcher (for Wellington), Mrs J. Donnelly, Mr J. C. Shand (for Auckland). Dr O. C. Mazengarb, of Wellington, returned north to-day. At a meeting of the Otago branch of the New Zealand Institute of Chemistry Mr James Murray was presented ■ with the prize awarded- annually by the - institute to the first-year science student who has the best record in chemistry at the University of Otago. Advice has been received that Bombardier Winston Woodbury, who is serving overseas, has been granted 'a commission. Mrs Duncan MoCallum, of Rutherford street, Caversham, has received cabled advice that her husband has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant in the Navy. He has been serving on a minesweeper. At a meeting of the Otago Hospital Board yesterday afternoon the chairman (Mr J. W. Dove) extended a welcome to Mr L. F. Evans, a new member.
